"Wilmersdorfs Kind" Album Cover

[Graphics] Graphic Design Creative Direction

For "Wilmersdorfs Kind", an album by German rapper Ski Aggu in ode to his childhood - we designed the digital cover and vinyl designs. It shows a distorted, infantile caricature of the rapper, whilst the graphic design resembles a German passport.

As the artist didn't show up to the planned shoot because he was at Berghain, we created the cover graphic from a 3D scan previously made of him. We covered everything from initial conception to final design handover.

Wide 3D render of the whole release lined up on a glossy white floor: red vinyl, clear vinyl and CD, each next to its sleeve.

The limited vinyl featured a scratch-off element censoring the artists normally concealed eyes.

Just when you think it can’t get any better, even more beautiful work appears. Wow.
